Paro is the only international airport in Bhutan, located at 2,235m above the sea level, surrounded by the mountains. It is an hours’ drive from the capital city, Thimphu.
There are flights from Singapore, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Delhi, Kolkata, Bagdogra, Guwahati and Gaya to Bhutan. Apart from flights, one can also enter Bhutan by road via southern towns of Phuentsholing, Samdrup Jongkhar and Gelephu.
