BHUTAN VISA

Except for travelers from India, who need a permission, all visitors to Bhutan need a visa. BTB can take care of processing your visa before you leave. Upon arrival, your visa will be endorsed.

It is advised that they be applied for in advance in order to minimize waiting times at the port of entrance, even though tourists from Bangladesh, the Maldives, and India can process their visas and permits upon arrival at their port of entry.

Nationals of Bangladesh and the Maldives, as well as nationals of Switzerland and Thailand who hold diplomatic or government-official passports, are also eligible for a visa on arrival at their port of entry.

Indian passport holders or those with voter ID cards are needed to obtain a permission in order to enter Bhutan. Indian nationals under the age of eighteen are required to be accompanied by a legal guardian and may enter with a birth certificate or passport.
